There are people making a living on the Internet in more ways than you can count. I just attended a seminar in Dallas where 11 speakers all gave their secrets to success on the Internet. I was blown away at the simplicity of many means of income. Just make contact with a lot of people, and provide them some value, and you’re set.

Best advice?
Choose ONE.
It’s really easy to be completely dazzled by the different ways to cash in on commerce via the web. I literally see a dozen new great methods on a daily basis. And you know what? MOST of them actually work!
So what does that tell us?
We need to choose one, and see it through to the finish.
Find an opportunity that best meets your personality, skills, and knowledge. Dedicate yourself to following it to the very letter, all the way to the finish line.
Dedicate yourself to putting the “blinders” on. These are little shields that carriage horses wear to block everything out of their vision except the road ahead. You need to do the same. Don’t be distracted by the dozen new great opportunities cropping up every day.
See it through to the very end. Most aspiring Internet entrepreneurs will see a project through to the 80% mark and then put it down to finish later. HUGE mistake. The most efficient time to get it done is when it’s fresh in your mind. It keeps the workload WAY down. FINISH THAT BIZ!
Don’t slow down until your new business is making at least SOME money on auto-pilot. Refuse to pay attention to anything else until you’ve heard that first cash register ring. Keep promoting and advertising and spreading the word until that happens. It will show you what is going to work.
Once you find out what makes a dollar, do that 1000 times. The easiest way is to automate the process. Get it to where it does it all by itself, and all in a day.
Now… You can try something NEW!
Start over… but STILL don’t get distracted. Evaluate all the business models you’d like to try before you dive in. Choose which fits you best. Dive in and put those blinders on until you see profit!
This system works EVERY TIME when setting up an Internet business.
Most folks on the Internet have absolutely no clue how search engines work. They think that hundreds of guys with huge craniums are constantly tweaking gigantic, blackboard-filling math problems in order to confound profiteers and deliver appropriate websites to their adoring fans.
That would be really cool if it were true…
But we all really know that the search engines are a business…
There are FAR MORE people working at these companies in the MONEY side of the biz. Search engines are the modern-day equivalent of advertising agencies. In fact, it’s not just an equivalent; that’s what they are. What new avenues are these companies exploring? Better Search Results? Hardly.
New areas of major exploration at the SEs are new avenues of getting advertiser’s messages into the faces of more people. Just take a look at the books of these Internet businesses. You’ll see minor expenditures on search R&D in comparison to outlays for new market opportunites.
That’s the purpose of this blog.
